Happy Monday - hope everyone's holiday season is going well. I thought I would share this set that I shot with one of my good buddies, Shohreh, at a house I came up on in the hills above Pasadena. If you look closely in one of the shots you can even see the Rose Bowl. Anyhow, I was super hype to shoot here because it is a perfectly maintained 'Mad Men' era house so we picked out a wardrobe that matched with he fur and the classic lingerie. While i didn't have all the time in the world, there were possibilities everywhere so i took advantage of what I had while we raced to beat the sunset.

Happy Friday all. Thought I'd end out this super busy week form me with a super last minute set I did with Kate at the end of one of our shoots. Although the whole 'white wall' has been done a bunch before, she has the personality to make it still worth doing. More coming from us soon, hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

If you have followed my work you have seen how my photos have changed over the years. With the prevalence of Instagram in the field I started out taking a lot of influence from the platform which is honestly a bit gimmicky in my opinion. As an artist i get bored with things quickly and that particular style of imagery bored me quickly but not my love for the art. I quickly moved on to where I currently am in a more classic style of the art and one of my photos being accepted on Vogue Italia's "fotovogue" site is exciting to me as I of course have far to go but I am glad to see that I am making progress. Hope everyone is well. I just realized I never posted this set that Jo and I worked on a few weeks ago. One good thing about the cold weather and early sunsets is that I am working in the studio a lot more and forced to be more creative without the available resources of interesting locations. One way I do that is using color. With an awesome model like Jo and switching up the colors I use i was super happy with this simple but fun set that came together. If you haven't yet be sure to check out @Joneofthewonders on IG.
